PERSONNEL Accounting Department, Inc. is owned by Terri Papageorge, CPA (inactive). Experience includes: -- Owner and President of Accounting Department, Inc. 1995- present -- Controller of Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club 1995 - March 31, 2018 -- Vice President/Controller of Jonathan’s Landing, Inc., a real estate developer and subsidiary of Aluminum Company of America -- Audit Senior with Arthur Andersen and Company, a former public accounting firm. The Company’s staff of 10 includes accountants, bookkeepers, and support and data entry personnel with many years of education and experience. Terri supervises staff and prepares and reviews financial statements for several homeowner and condominium associations.
Jasmine Thomas-Brooks, CPA Jasmine has recently joined our team. She has over 20 years of experience in public accounting with expertise in the accounting practices relevant to homeowner and condominium associations. She is a great addition as our business continues to grow.
Deborah Dopman, Staff Accountant Debbie has an Associate’s degree in Accounting and approximately 20 years of experience in the accounting/bookkeeping field. Debbie processes payroll, processes owner billings and receipts (A/R) and prepares monthly financial statements for homeowner/condominium associations. Gail Beck, Staff Accountant Gail joined our team in December 2014 with many years of experience in the accounting field working with Homeowner and Condominium Associations. Gail prepares bank reconciliations, monthly financial reports, and also processes accounts payable. Lee Ann Weishaupt, Accounts Receivable Supervisor and Payroll Administrator Lee Ann was hired by Accounting Department, Inc. in September 1998 as a bookkeeper. Prior work experience includes bookkeeping, payroll, and insurance / benefits for over 8 years in Florida and South Carolina. Lee Ann has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Palm Beach Atlantic College, with 15 credit hours in Accounting. Lee Ann’s primary responsibility is the supervision of all Accounts Receivable functions for all homeowner and condominium associations. These functions include billing, cash receipts, deposits, preparing estoppels and late letters. Lee Ann, at the association’s request, often interacts with the attorneys regarding unit foreclosures, bankruptcies, payment plans, etc. Responsibilities also include supervising the payroll functions. Patty Crump, Staff Accountant Patty joined our team in 2016. She has many years of experience providing bookkeeping services for multiple homeowner and condominium associations. She previously worked for Bristol Management and FSR.
Frank Froelicher, Accounts receivable / Accounts payable clerk Frank was hired in 2007 and has several years experience as an administrative assistant, with strong data entry and spreadsheet skills. Frank posts payments for the homeowner associations, as well as assisting in the overall accounts receivable process. He also processes invoices and checks for several condominium associations. Susan Kalbing, Staff Accountant Susan graduated in 2011 from FAU with a degree in Business
Administration with a major in Accounting. She has been involved in providing
accounting services for condominium and homeowner associations since 2013. Christine assists in the posting of payments for the homeowner associations, as well as other administrative duties. |
